This Petition is created to help stem the proliferation of loud motorcycles roaring around our Town of Novato. If you believe, as I do, that the Novato Police Department has the duty to apply the Califorina Code regarding loud motorcycles (up to 84 decibels) as it is written is a priority to the people of Novato who believe that loud, speeding motorcycles are both creating Noise Pollution and endangering people on foot, on bicycles and in vehicles. Please sign below so that we can take back our streets from a few bad apples who beleive their right to have a loud motorcycle outweighs an entire neighborhoods well being.
Thank you for listening.

More >Since the Beijing 2008 Olympics, vendors have been selling live small animals (goldfish, turtles, salamanders, etc.) and placing them into small bags as a type of keychain for souvenirs. China has a wildlife law that protects any kind of wildlife from this cruelty but they fail to stop and protect the nonsense that is going on. Wildlife or not this is a type of abuse that is a cruel joke and is killing several of these animals.

More >More stringent punishments for so called “Knockout game“
Do you want speedy adoption of law introducing more stringent punishments not only for random attackers but also for those who watch and publish video of the attacks on the Internet?
As reported on foxnews.com: In several cities, including New York, Washington, D.C., St. Louis and Pittsburgh, teenagers have been participating in a "game" called "Knockout” – with sometimes lethal consequences. The object of the game is to deliver a single blow to an unsuspecting person's head – generally a stranger – that renders that person unconscious.

New York state legislator Jim Tedisco, proposed a law this week that would introduce more stringent punishments not only for random attackers but also for those who watch and publish video of the attacks on the Internet. Experts on youth criminality say that the most appropriate for these teenagers would be empathy exercising, such as working at a homeless shelter etc. Do you want speedy adoption of law introducing more stringent punishments and judicially ordered empathy exercising not only for random attackers but also for those who watch and publish video of the attacks on the Internet? Sign this petition.
